MARTIN BOESCH

Since 1982 has been principal of an architectural firm in Zurich with Elisabeth Boesch. Has built works in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong. Among the most important projects: restructuring and renewal of Amtshaus III in Zurich; Maag-Areal in Zurich, with Diener & Diener; Pavilion Oui! Expo 02 in Yverdon; Areal Sulzer-Lagerplatz in Winterthur; renovation and extension to Villa Rainhof in Zurich; restructuring and extension to Kurtheater in Baden. Has taught Reuse at the Institutes of Technology in Lausanne and Zurich, the Institute of Architecture in Geneva, the Higher School of Visual Arts and the HafenCity University of Hamburg. Since 2005 Martin Boesch is titular professor at the Accademia di architettura in Mendrisio.

Giulio Bettini, dipl. Architect ETH SIA

Studied architecture at the ETH in Zürich, he graduated in 2007 under Prof. Markus Peter, worked in Milan and Lisbon. He runs the Office PENZISBETTINI. Architekten in Zürich and writes regularly articles about architecture. In 2014 won the FAS-BSA Scolarship and published his research as “La città animata. Milano and the architecture of Asnago Vender” (Libraccio/gta 2016). He joined studioRiuso in 2016, is diplom-assistant since 2018.

Alessandro Bonizzoni, Architect MSc Politecnico di Milano

• Graduated with honors in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano. In 2013 he founded Fosbury Architecture, a design and research collective. Since 2019 he has worked as a lecturer at the Domus Academy Milano. He joined studioRiuso in 2017.

Silvio Schubiger, Architect MSc AAM USI

Studied architecture at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts and Accademia di architettura, he graduated in 2018 under Prof. Martin Boesch. He works for E. & M. Boesch Architekten in Zurich. Beside that he is Co-president of the Basel voluntary monument preservation, board member of Domus Antiqua Helvetica NextGeneration and writes regularly articles about art and architecture. He joined studioRiuso in 2019.
